This is a beautifully original circular-dial 8-day clock housed in a medium oak case.
The cream face is in excellent condition, having Roman numerals and a seconds dial.
The movement is very clean and has been serviced. It keeps good time and rings to the hour on a bell.
The hood is supported on turned wooden pillars, and has a “broken” swan neck pediment with central brass ball finial.
The trunk is in excellent condition, the door having a brass escutcheon and working lock and key.
The case has a well-aged patina.
John Fisher was a well-known clock maker working in Bilston and later in West Bromwich.
