This is a nicely proportioned, late 18th century eight day oak cased longcase clock.
The brass face sits with a silver chapter ring bearing Roman and Arabic numerals, and includes a date aperture and seconds dial.
Both the case and movement are of good quality. The case has a characterful aged-patina, and the movement is in very good, clean condition, having been recently serviced in-house by us at Lofthouse Antiques.
The clock has recently been restored and is in excellent working order, striking on the bell once every hour.
Height 210cm to the top of the Hood.
