Made by the prolific German company about 120 years ago, this clock is housed in an unmarked arched oak case with brass ogee feet and a bevelled glass door.

The quality 8-day pendulum B13 movement chimes every quarter and gongs on the hour. It has a silent/chime ring as well as a regulation ring, which are set in a silvered dial. It keeps perfect time

Comes with winding key.

The Junghans company was founded in 1861, and by 1903 had become the most prolific in the world. More recently the company introduced the world’s first radio controlled clock, followed soon after by a radio controlled watch. It has been an official timekeeper for the Olympics.

Its trademark (stamped on the back of this movement’s case) is a cog wheel forming part of an eight-pointed star.
